When will the game be posted?

Right now!  Check the sidebar, version 0.50 is out.  It's incomplete in places, and some of the art is just wireframes, but it is very playable.  There's a lot to say, so let me try to be brief.

Re-read the instructions at the start menu.  A lot has changed.

R activates run mode, and down arrow activates blocking.  While running, your defense is greatly reduced. Vice versa when blocking.  Not 100% sure I even want blocking in this game, but given how hard some of the monsters are, it's almost a necessity.  (Feedback here would be good)

If you are dominating a 1-on-1 grapple, extra monsters will not be able double team you.
None of the new monsters have double-team grapples (yet).
Just pointing both of these out to try & avoid some confusion.

As always, please feel free to mirror this game on other sites.  I have no idea what my limitations are on bandwidth & all, so having the game distributed to multiple locations is probably a good idea.

Lastly, I wanted to point out that now would be a really good time to send me a donation.  I think y'all know I've been having computer problems, and the machine I had been using to make this game is now kaput.  So, I'm going to be building a new computer for the sole reason of making games.  Some folks have already come forward with money (thanks again!), and I figure now's as good a time as any to beg a bit.  To be perfectly clear though: I do not NEED money.  I'll be buying a new machine with or without donations, so please don't think that you must donate for any reason.  Donations would be very appreciated though, so if you enjoy my games, well... now would be a fantastic time to show it.  =)

Thanks Everyone!

Known bugs:
If multiple monsters drop items simultaneously, only one will hit the ground.

If you are grabbed while using a Staff special attack, the power up sound will continue for a while

Being re-grabbed immediately as the first grab is ending will often cause the grapple bar to remain hidden for that grapple

Large items in the foreground can look funny.  Their tops will be hidden when in dark rooms, and they will often clip the interface bar at the top of the screen.

The code "TowardTheHorde" says it doesn't work when entered.  It actually does, and it works better than it's supposed to (it unlocks both Act 1 & 2 monsters, instead of just Act 1).  Since it's a 'good' bug, I'm going to leave it for now.  Enjoy.  ;)

  1. Just finished the 0.5 beta game... very enjoyable!!!

    Just some thoughts following.

Maybe the blob boss is a little bit more difficult than the following mini-bosses.

And also I'd say that the struggle against female bunny is pure genius!
I'd suggest, for next chapter maybe, a struggle of this kind but breast-focused. In lesbian interaction I think is the only thing missing: some hands/tongue/pinching/something breast fight.

Keep on the awesome work, it's amazing already!

  2. Mmm, my only gripe are the sections where you need to crawl under things. They don't really serve any real purpose, and only slow you down. Every time I came to one I just thought "Damn, not again.."

On a side note, beating the living crap out of that fire with an axe is awesome.

Oh, I think the kick with the hammer goes a bit far. It was probably intentional, since it means you have to be careful while using it, but it seems a little extreme to me.

Anyhow, keep up the good work.

  3. I agree with Kyrieru on the crawling part, each time I came to one I had the same reaction. I think if you want to keep it in the game you could either increase the crawling speed, although this may make it look unreal if it's too fast. Or for some tricky parts you intended, such as the one before the slime tentacle in the generator room, the size of the obstruction you have to crawl under could be severely reduced, I wouldn't mind crawling under something if it only took 1 second instead of 10. Other than that I felt the game was a great success, thank you for the beta DC101.

  4. My two cents for increasing the crawling speed too.
    xD

  5. It would be more convenient if you have a byd account Webmoney.

  6. Crawling: I think I may just make the crawl objects really skinny. That might also allow me to simply leave them all on top of the interface, rather than trying to split them in half like I'm doing now (which still doesn't work right, imo).

2H Weapons: Kyrieru pretty much nailed it. The large weapons deal a good bit more dmg than the others, so I wanted to force a little bit of skill in their use.

  7. I wish the game had been a virtual keypad. Thanks

  9. Everything I have to say about the first level is already here. On the second level? There is way too much fluff and areas that serve no real purpose, so you spend a lot of time going around doing nothing trying to find what you need to move on. The first level took me maybe 20-30 minutes to complete in its entirety, even without the bosses, level 2 took me an hour and a half at least; and most of the time I wasn't doing anything but looking through houses and fighting more of the same enemies.

  10. I agree with the last post partially. It's not that there is too much "fluff" in it, the problem is that it is too combat heavy.

I mean, yes, you want enemies so you can fuck them but it get's boring rather quickly. Especially the good ideas for example the struggling game with the female bunny wear off way too fast since you have to constantly do these passages.

It is okay that you have to "run around" a bit, I like having an objective. But it's tedious to fight the same 3 enemies over and over again. I would suggest two things in particular:

    1. Greatly reduce the number of enemies and make them harder to fight (or include, if possible, a flexible level of difficulty depending on the char)

    2. Disable enemy respawn for "transit" sections (meaning those passages you have to pass over and over again to get things done).

I think this way you could focus more on "fluff" which I'd love to see is REWARDED with friendly sex scenes eventually :)

  11. I don't know if you intended it because I don't see it anywhere mentioned, but the up arrow triggers sprint.

I agree about the crawling, and in the demo the second act does have a large amount of empty areas (aside from enemies) though that gives plenty of room for side quests and easter eggs.

I do love the new monsters and their attacks, but the human female grapple animation seems to change too abruptly for the last stage of monster domination. Perhaps she could hold her sword by the handgaurd and use it's handle as a dildo, or simply lift the heroine's hips up sitting up on her face still so the heroine is partialy upside down.

Cannot wait to see the bosses that are on vacation currently.

One note about act one, the zombie crew dominations seem slightly off with how the heroine simply takes it with her arms at her side. I love watching her face get used but perhaps she should grip the zombie's thighs or hips so she looks like she is struggling still.

I do hope that you add hidden easter eggs, and friendly sex scenes as well that reward you with either items, or health. And perhaps adding an item drop or a person to go to for armor repair would also be very helpfull.

Overall, your game is incredably addictive, even aside from the sex. keep up the great work to prove a sex game can be good.

  12. I love it, everyone else has nailed everything i was gonna say. One thing though: The "arrow cues" dont show up NEARLY fast enough IMO while in a "domination fight". By the time a new one appears, my work on the last one was practically gone. A great example is in a "dominatrix-pirate" threesome fight.

  13. I mostly agree with TK-241.

Playing more than once the game makes the transit zones a little bit boring: maybe with more difficult enemies there AND no respawn it could be a little better.

I was also thinking about armor save for enemies, in particular for female bunny. The model, maybe a reduced one, could be already taken from main character and it would make some dressed enemies more difficult to conquer sexually.

Anyway, the work is really awesome!

  14. Not sure if this is a bug, but I'm playing as the bunny and I can't find the human key i need.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I agree with Demonshark, i think the arrow cues should show up faster, the whole system needs balancing somehow.
if i understand the stats in grappling
Body= bar moves more when cues are won
spirit= damage over time in grapples is higher
health=higher health bar slowly moves in favour, changing poses changes damage
armor=breaks out of grapple if you lose
    advantage

I think armor should only halt the progress in enemies favour (until it breaks of course)
i think health should only be lost when at a disadvantage
spirit needs to do more, as body kind of trumps damage when you get the advantage so easy, maybe give them higher advantage when they start the grapples?

  16. The rate of the arrow respawns is now determined by your Spirit score. (Another change since last time, sorry I can't even remember them all without prompting.) So Lei-Lei should see fast arrow respawns, while Farah will have to wait a long time.

  17. Hi. The game is very difficult. Would not it be even God Mode?

    ReplyDelete
  18. if there was a way to avoid taking so much damage as lei-lei (aside from sniping everything on the screen all the time) it would be better. she seems to take more damage than farah with a smaller health bar... you should give her spells that grapple for her, like conjuring mirror images and tentacles and whatnot

  19. When two male wizards approache from the same direction, the second one cannot takes the heroine from behind. It's a pity because they mostly appear by the same side from the heroine so I only see this nice de troi when they attack Fox NPC.

  20. so okay i have reached the second act walked all over the place repaired the dune crawler and it wouldn't move out of the way. i have no idea what to do next how do i finish act 2? i wouldn't ask but this is my 4th attempt and i cant find helpful info anywhere

  21. I have to say i really enjoy what your doing with the game. I have a couple thoughts. Perhaps you already had this in mind. I would love to see fluid transitions between the different grapple moves. And I was wondering how you were planning on implementing the double teams. It would be cool to have a different double team for no matter what is on the screen, a male elf and a human female, or a bunny male and a elf female, etc etc. Would add a lot more variety to the game.

  22. Great game man, really enjoy playing it not only as a porn game but as a game, i find the story line compeling, the characters charismatic and game play adictive.
even so i find the balance of the caracters a litte of, warrior gains a clear advantage in sexual attacks, while the mage has a kick ass ranged attack u loose life very fast and I find the extra damage from sexual attacks just not wort the risk since if you engage a strong enemy the slider will work against u... but thats my ideia... anyway, great game, gonna play it again now.

  23. yeah and k fox kind of gets the short end on both sticks... i think i used all my continues with her because i had a shit of a time killing the slime boss with her, basically have to blow a lot of health special attacking the tentacles and then put on the first aid kit, run like hell, put on tooth necklace, grapple the boss, (if you dont start it you're fucked) where farrah can grapple everything and not lose any health and lei lei can snipe...

maybe give each class a feat or something solely for grapples?

    warrior-stamina-gain health when dominant
martial artist-acrobat-take less damage in submissive position
wizard-trickster-start in advantage regardless of who starts grapple

  24. I have to admit, you're really SHOCKING me with your game! 'Cause it is absolutely fantastic (:

But people say you're only good when you get criticised. Just some things of your great game that could be improved.

1.) As some people wrote before: The crawling gets my goat. It is a nice view at your character, but still boring. Maybe you can add sth., e.g. that there's someone behind you (also crawling) who wants to catch you. Maybe this someone can grab your legs und pull you back and then something... Or you just make the crawling parts shorter(?)

2.) Concerning the scene where your character lies on the bed (room of the crew): Maybe you can add sth. to that, e.g. that there's a crew member beating his meat and being surprised by the captain coming in. Or even a crew member lying on your character and doing something.

3.) I think that in the second act of the game (village and nature) there are too many characters at once. I suggest bringing the humans back to there village.

4.) Maybe you can do sth. with the rabbit telling you that there's something wrong in the village. He could be squirrelly for example and you have to "help him out".

5.) I loved the scene with the wolf coming in and watching you while your character took a shower. It would be great if you put someone (e.g. a crew member) in a cabine of a toilet where you have to "help" the crew and that this someone surprises you and then doing something, don't know, or that the wolf who watches you while taking a shower comes out of that cabine.

I didn't really understand why there are these boxes in the armory room(?) Maybe you can tell me :)

Just some suggestions or simply my opinion :) You're doing great work, dude. Keep at it! ;)

btw: Sorry for bad English...that could also be improved :D

  25. sorry to ask again but is there a way to finish act 2 cause im not dying i just cant find a goal please help

  26. If you still plan on making more baddies id suggest a minotaur, or something alittle fantasy to mix it up.

    ReplyDelete
  27. It's a fun game. Most of the things I'd say I've already said, but there's something I think you can add: in fights, there needs to be a little more reward than there is. One of the basic principles of game design: victory = reward. And in this case, something people want, that's hard for them to get, is to see all the animations. As it is now, you have to lose on purpose to see some of them, which is pretty counterintuitive!

How about, when the player wins entirely, you give them the option to freely switch between animations until the enemy runs out of health? The character has presumably completely dominated them, so they can do what they like, right? Maybe an option to end things immediately as well, once you've got the full bar.

Another issue: in the first act boss, and the second act, it's terribly easy to get caught in a long chain of grapples, since other enemies just walk right up and are ready to grab you again as soon as you get out.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I would say in regard to jukashi's comment is to just have an unlockable gallery. maybe not where you get a code when you beat the game or something, but maybe have it so you have to be dominant in a grapple with every monster (or just the bosses?)
im partial to the achievement system anyways, passing the game should just advance the story line, im sure the last boss is gonna have some really hot scenes anyways

  29. @Christopher - There's not really an 'ending' at the moment. There is a quick blurb & some teleport portals in the basement of the main building though. That's about as close to an ending as it gets (for now). And no, the dunecrawler doesn't move yet either. He's the gate to Act 3, which I haven't started.

  30. Love the concept of the female elf, she doesn't attack but if you attack her during her pose she teleports behind/on top of you making you an easy grab, pure genius

  31. For those who are looking for a health/invincibility cheat use the cheat engine (KPRFFbetaTrainer (v0.32 small)) from the may 2011 update (should be on the third page of the external site). First open up the KpRomplesteinsL33tH4xlawl.exe then down left should be an url. Delete this url and put in the url location of the 0.5 beta. After this check on of the characters you are playing (e.g. Krystal) and enjoy being invincible. Dont know if the others cheats on the right side work aswell.

To the game: Really like it. Cant wait for the next update.

  33. Hey dirtyc101,

Great job so far! Not only is this an exciting Hgame, it's an interesting game, as well! The mechanics are good, there's a lot of openness, and most importantly, it's actually quite challenging.

It is for that last reason, I would have to disagree with some of the commenters, and I hope you consider what I say:

    1) I think long crawling locations are OK, and necessary at certain locations. They discourage players to pass through those locations too many times. Therefore, it forces players to think, and plan out their actions.

    2) I disagree with Jukashi. If the character wins the fight, the player shouldn't be rewarded (and the character punished), with the character being dominated scene. Obviously the character doesn't want that, or she would have intentionally lost the fight. However, if you, as the player, want to see her, as the character, being dominated, you will have to work against your character's best interest, and force her into being dominated. Don't give these people a get out of jail free card here. :) Force them to make this decision. Also, being able to see every scene if you totally win the fight with both, shorten how long the game stays interesting, AND destroy immersion.

    3) I don't think the level's are "too big". I also think you should keep empty containers. These things add credibility to the game, and helps the player suspend his or her disbelief. Also, if some containers have stuff, and some do not, then opening each container is pretty exciting, because there's always a chance you wont get something. And, when you DO get something, you really appreciate it! :)

So, in conclusion, please think over a lot of these suggestions. They may cater to some of your fans now, but they may also ultimately make your game easy, and not very interesting for long.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Just some suggestions:

besides the crawling speed thing, I guess it's a good idea to include some places in act 2 where we can wash ourselves, like the baths in act 1.

Also some x-action with npcs would be nice, like someone said before. Maybe bribing npcs with the body or getting rewards for optionally "helping" them.

A god mode in the story mode after we finish it would be nice too.

And this game is a awesome work. =]
